What's new at Angels n Everlastings

I just love these rustic twig heart wreath frames.  I decorated this one with seashells, sea glass, pretty pink dried roses and fragrant lavender and eucalyptus.

I just added two new photo frame listings in my Etsy shop.  The first is embellished with bits of light purple seashells along with creamy white shells and sea glass.

Beach lover photo frame

 This would make the perfect gift for the beach lover.  It can stand or hang either vertically or horizontally.  The size of this photo frame is 5" by 7".  Contact me if you'd like a certain color or a different size.

Preparing for Fall in New England

I've started to unpack my Christmas stock from last year. Before we know it we will be in the midst of the Christmas rush! Here is an angel that I created last year. I have a few left from last year and although I haven't decided what to charge - I know they will be less than I sold them last year. These angels are each one of a kind. They can be either a table decoration or a tree top angel. They are crafted out of fabric and then finished with stiffy to create a lasting finish.
These angels are a lot of work and I'm not sure I will be making any this year.

It doesn't seem possible that summer is almost over? At this time of year we are never ready to let it go. We never seem to get enough of the summer. Fall in New England is beautiful and the cool crisp weather is refreshing but we are sorry to say goodby to summer.

I have the good fortune to live on the East Coast so last week I took the opportunity to spend a day at Rockport, Ma. It is one of my favorite coastal spots in this area. I walked the beach and collected some interesting tidbits. Here's a picture of my finds

-- broken seashells, bits of seaglass, and if you look closely you will see there are some bits and pieces of imprinted pottery that washed up on the beach. I will be using these soon in one of my seashell embellished creations.

Anything Beachy

I just love anything beachy. I am fortunate to live a short drive from Revere Beach, which was the first public beach. It's not the most scenic beach but it's close and I never feel like I can get there often enough over the summer. I have some new beachy creations for sale in my Etsy shop. Here is one -

Over the past few years, Revere Beach has hosted a sandcastle event. It's amazing what these creative people can do with sand. I ventured to take a look at the creations this July and here is a picture of beach goers and the winning sand castle.

There were other beautiful creations and I intended to return later when there were less people to get more photos but I never did. They normally last on the beach for weeks. Unfortunately, this year some loser destroyed most of them the following week.
